Clint Perrett
Running, cycling, triathlon
Clint has been involved in Sport all his life and competed in endurance sport from Primary age competition. He has been involved in Little Athletics and raced Cross Country events, culminating in 2 x National team selection at the World Cross Country Championships. Clint has raced on the track from 800m through to the Marathon distance. To go with his 63:40 Half Marathon and 2:17 marathon, Clint has represented Australia racing Nationally and Internationally.
Recently, Clint has moved from running to try his hand at another endurance sport in Cycling, and after working through the differences between the two sports, has been able to cross over with success. He has enjoyed recent National and State level titles in Road Cycling and Cyclocross events at the Masters level and now combines both running and cycling into his regular training regime.
Clint's coaching passion stems from years involved in sport, combining his teaching experience as a Physical Education teacher, and involvement in school running programs and hopes to pass on his knowledge and experiences to athletes of all levels that he coaches.
The most rewarding part of coaching includes seeing individuals set, prepare for, and reach challenging sporting goals as well as the social connections forged through a group striving for success and this is what fuels the passion for being involved in endurance coaching for Clint.
Away from sport, Clint loves spending time with his young family, catching up with friends socially and being out in nature
